Why is a brand strategy important? And what (tf) is it?

Think of a brand strategy as your brand’s roadmap for the future. It’s a long-term plan that sets the direction for everything your brand does. From how it speaks to customers to how it stands out in the market. A brand strategy defines essential elements like your mission, target audience, messaging, and positioning. This way all (future) efforts stay consistent, on point, and aligned with your business goals – attracting the right people at the right time.

It all starts with getting to know you. I’ll dive deep into your business, audience, and market landscape – including your competitors. From there, I start to define your brand’s core values, unique selling points, and a messaging framework that feels authentic and resonates with your people.

In simple terms, your brand strategy is about who you are, while your marketing strategy is about how you communicate that to the world. A brand strategy lays the foundation and defines your identity, mission, values, and the way you want to be perceived. It guides everything from your design elements to the tone of voice you use.

On top of that, I’ll provide you with brand guidelines and a creative direction for your communication – making sure everything stays consistent and on point, across all platforms.

The timeline for creating a brand identity depends on the scope of the project and the number of revisions we work through together. Typically, you can expect the full process to take between 4 to 8 weeks.

The cost really comes down to the specific services you’re looking for. A full Brand Identity Package, which covers everything from logos to brand guidelines and more, typically starts at €3200. This package is all-inclusive and provides you with everything you need on different platforms.

That said, I understand every brand has different needs and budgets. If you only require a few key elements, like a logo or social media templates, we can create a custom package that works for you.

To start things off, I’m going to dive deep into your business, goals, and vision for the project. This means I’m going to need details like your mission and values, insights about your target audience, and any specific goals you have in mind. If you already have brand materials or ideas on what inspires you (or even what you don’t like), that’s super helpful too.

If we’re working on brand strategy or design, knowing your preferences and key competitors will also guide us in the right direction. But don’t worry if you’re not sure where to start – I’ve got you covered. We can figure it all out in a brand session together, or if you have materials ready, you can simply share them. An EVP, or Employee Value Proposition, is basically your promise to your employees – the unique benefits and values you offer to make your workplace stand out. It answers the all-important question: “Why should someone work here?”

Do you need it? Yes, if you want to attract, engage, and retain top talent. A strong EVP is important for building your employer brand. It helps set your company apart from others and makes sure your team feels connected with your values.
